TD Summer Reading
As Canada’s largest, bilingual summer reading program, the TD Summer Reading Club offers free, specialized programming and activities for children and their families that promotes literacy across the country. More than 300,000 kids explore the fun of reading, anywhere, anytime over the summer thanks to TD’s incredible support.
TD Gallery
This vital space located at the Toronto Reference Library provides free access to arts and culture through expertly curated exhibitions and engaging programs, tours and activities that resonate with people of all ages.
TD Heritage Programs
Showcasing the diverse voices of our city
Torontonians gain free, equitable access to a suite of dynamic heritage programming and events that encompass a broad range of human knowledge, cultural experiences, information and ideas – all in welcoming and supportive environments. Patrons can embrace diversity, seek opportunities to engage with their community and learn about our shared culture and history.

DANIELS FAMILY
Young Voices
Thanks to the Daniels Family’s support for Young Voices, in honour of their mother Norine Rose, the brothers have pledged $200,000, enabling teens to explore writing and art. Young Voices is an important program that connects Toronto’s creative youth with adult experts in the arts and their peers.
ESTATE OF FRANK PEERS
New Malvern Youth Hub
Thanks to a significant designated gift from the Estate of Frank Peers, TPL funded the startup of a new Youth Hub service in the Malvern branch. The gift will help bring youth back into the Library; providing them with safe and engaging programs and services, access to technology and mentoring opportunities.

Robertson & Wilder Donations
Tremendous Support for The Osborne Collection of Early Children’s Books
A generous donation from the Norman and Marian Robertson Charitable Foundation, which came to the Foundation through the Friends of Osborne, as well as gifts from Judith Wilder and Mary Smith that provide ongoing support to the Osborne Collection, located at the Lillian H Smith branch.

Avie Bennett
New Strategies for Indigenous Initiatives at Toronto Public Library
Transformative funding received in memory of Avie Bennett will further TPL’s Indigenous initiatives and help bring together Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. The Library can enhance its collections and specialized programming to facilitate public education and awareness, and develop deeper connections with Indigenous communities across our city.

Friends Of Toronto Public Library Raise $2 Million
For more than a decade, sales from BookEnds stores, book sales and other events have contributed to the Friends, North and South Chapters, raising an incredible $2 million for Toronto Public Library. Special thanks to these faithful volunteers for their dedication and outstanding support to benefit children.
The Catherine & Maxwell Meighen Foundation
Thanks to an exceptional partnership with the Foundation spanning 20 years, the Library’s collections, services and resources are accessible to everyone through Mobile Library Service. For those who are homebound or living in underserved or isolated areas, these essential services bring the Library to every corner of the city.
